I got my first tattoo about a week and a few days ago but it already started to fade. It’s a red lotus flower. It looked fine at first but now it’s barely there and I can’t tell if it’s directly in the middle or not. I just need a few suggestions.

if you decide to redo it or covered... spend a lot more than you did with the first time, and at a different place, a true artist...
The shop mentioned that the artist can do it again for free but I really don’t know. I don’t want to spend more money but I don’t know if it’s the best choice to go back to her. I really wanted to have it in red too.
tattoos are want of the few things that you should NEVER EVER go cheap
and worst than getting a cheap tattoo is... accepting a free tattoo from someone who already did a horrible job at it
Get it covered or get the same one in a different area. The neck is a super thin area and blow outs happen often; same with behind the ear.
I’d get it covered. Whoever did it blew you out
Yeah definitely get it redone or at least covered up. The fading makes it barely even look like a tattoo

What'd your tattoo artist say? 🤔
I messaged another person from there and she said “the girl can redo it for free on a Tuesday or she (the person I messaged) can do a coverup but she only does black and grey”. The day I got it done she just said it might fade overtime and what to put on it
You get it redone
