From fashion influencers to reality television stars, hot couture is everywhere nowadays and a lot of women wish they could afford to own some themselves. But let's say that you had the money to afford to buy from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and other high end brands, would you?

Yes, but I'd only get a handbag and nothing else.

None of the voting options really fit, so here's my thoughts: I might get one or two accent pieces from brands whose philosophy, history, and sustainability approaches align with mine. But in all honesty, it's likely not going to be one of these brands.

I'd rather spend 1/3 of what those cost to buy a local sustainably produced product from a small business in my country.

And again, only one or two accent pieces. Fill out my wardrobe with regular stuff (ideally still from local and sustainable shops).

I'm not a fan of LV and gucci because they're "loud". I think I've only liked one gucci bag, but it wasn't worth it (had absolutely NO pockets in it).

I only have 1 designer bag that's cute and lowkey. Can wear it as an everyday bag. If i buy a gift i make sure their's is lowkey as well.

To me, if it's cute and i really like it.. I'll buy it.

What I have noticed is a lot of people, who can't afford these types of brands, steal them instead. In my opinion, if you buy these "fad" type items you are just helping to make a designer rich and you are just advertising their products for them. The same thing applies when you see people wearing clothes the designer's logo on it. Then you have kids saying, "Aww gee mom, I don't want Keds, I want Jordan's."

probably not I would go for high quality expensive stuff that are still cheaper than brand stuff 🥲 but better than primark

I have a few different bags form Louis Vuitton and a dress form Fendi and a few bottles of perfume from Dior. But, would i do it all over again probally not to be honest.

Other than for display purposes, I don't see any other advantages to purchasing branded and pricey goods. Although I understand that more expensive stuffs often last longer, I think we eventually replace them and stop using the older ones.
