Will these jeans relax/loosen up?

Hi so I just bought these jeans and can barely get in them, they look fine but are really tight on butt and legs, will they loosen up after washing or I missed the size? They have elastin but are really tight regardless.

If they are actually jeans (denim) then probably not. Washing and drying will tend to keep them as tight as they are or sometimes tighter. If they're leggings, then it depends on the largest quantity of material in the fabric. Some will shrink, some will stay the same, and some will loosen.

Elastane is a basically Spandex or Lycra (those are the most known brand names) and it comes as-is, does not shrink. If they don't fit now, return them.

clearly you never done laundry before. when you wash clothes they tighten up not loosen up. the fabric loosens up over time from being worn down and the fabrics in the cloth breaking down

Well it's not worth it to wear clothes that don't fit, it will mess with your circulation.

It's true. I was wearing them for a little bit in the house hoping they'd stretch but it's very minimal and when I take them off my legs ache a little. Sad because I'm literally in love with them but they're bad for health

Well they might stretch a little bit after wearing them and washing them but I think you should have gotten a bigger size.

This is why it sucks to buy clothes online, you never know how it's gonna look on you.
I've had this problem with clothes online too but I'm glad I stopped ordering clothes online because you can't try them and so you can't tell if it's the right size or not.

True. I buy online only because there's better variety, I can find stuff that I like. Whereas irl I can only buy trash. These jeans are good quality and I really like them but yeah they're super tight for no reason. Just hoping they'd stretch.

Yeah true, there are better clothing options online than irl But you could still find good looking clothes and even similar jeans like those if you look into different stores.
