We don't really have one, to be honest. The closest we probably have is Cowboy outfit, which no one wears, except for reenactments.

However, we have many Indigenous cultures that have their own traditional dresses, but they mainly wear them for tourists and for celebrations.

The Amishes on the other hand, they actually walk around like that
There are traditional festive clothing, that is mostly just worn on yeah festive occasions. Mainly women that wear them and you have different designs and colors for each region and you also have this general Swedish one.
We don't have one in Canada. Speaking of East Indian dresses though, what would people think of North American girls dressing in East Indian dresses as casual wear? Like I know they wear a lot of sequin crop tops. Do people think that's too fancy?
People don't wear that on a daily basis.

I have never wore anything like that and I also don't own one lol
People here mostly only wear that for Octoberfest

My Deutsch is a bit rusty now lol
Haha well it's easy, you dress like that pic and you drink... but nice that you took german

As in the photo, styles vary but basically you look like a witch about to do some housework. You'll commonly see children wearing it on St David's day going to school. Adults might wear one for a parade or say Christmas carols that type of thing but you wouldn't see it been worn as everyday clothing.
Apparently the dress started in the 1800 when English tourists saw women wearing them in markets and thought we wore them all the time. They kept coming back to take photos and we didn't want to let them down
The countries which I can consider my countries, Russia, USA, and Spain, have the old traditional western dress. I don’t much fancy it, but there’s nothing else to wear. Sometimes I wear a headband. Other times I used to tie a scarf around my head, like a kuffiya.
It looks like this

I can wear it for birthdays weddings
What’s yours?
The saree. I've posted it already

@Msputiton lmao...
I couldn’t really say for the country but for my state western and cowboy wear would be considered traditional so plaid button downs, jeans, cowboy boots and hats which is what I wear.
Don't really have one. But I pretty much only wear jeans, band t-shirts and boots. So that is my traditional dress.
Sarees and salwar suits are the traditional wear in India and women in India love to wear them on a daily basis.
In the USA
It seems like more men wearing female clothing and more women wearing men's clothing
Kinda feels like a gender swap thing going on
That looks rather elegant. I am not sure the USA has any traditional wear. If I go to my office or have a meeting with clients I wear a business suit. Otherwise I am in tee shirt and jeans.
I wesr it on a regular basis back in my country since it can work everywhere. Weddings, meetings etc. Thats a Pakistani actress in your question's photo. Maya Ali :')
Shalwar kameez/kurta. Wear it a few times a month in Pakistan. by the way, who is in the photo? Is she a Pakistani actress? Looks really familiar.

It's not easy to work in a saree
Then why wear it at all
Because it's very beautiful.
But you just said it's not practical
Hmmm... She has a striking resemblance to Maya Ali.
