Modern traditional wear guys. 😂

let's see... Mexico is a vastly rich nation in culture, Mexican culture is actually a mix of many different and varied cultures, not just one as a whole... so I will show you a few examples of the most representative and traditional clothes, some might have been around for centuries but we like to keep traditions alive, even today...

these last ones are ~very arguably~ from the most Mexican state in all Mexico... Jalisco, at least is one of the most associated with our culture around the world... the charros, the sombreros, the Mariachis and the tequila are all from this state
@joygirl they are, and there is many more of them... lots of colour and rich in details, in general... and as you go Northern in Mexico they turn more onto the Vaquero/Ranger/Cowboy style... lmao
@moonpie89 I am from Texas but the right on the border, so yes, I was also raised onto my Mexican roots, at least a third of my relatives are Mexican... dual national at the end of the day, American-Mexican... lol
If you mean our formal attire, here it is. You can really feel the fusion in this.

So westernized. It even suites Caucasians so much

Even Barack wearing it
Ty 🫂🫂 And yeah i've only shown you are only the formal wear. This is what the common people wore back in the days. I don't know why only kids are modeling it. Traditionally, they're not that colorful. They're ragged. cf.shopee.ph/file/6e87d637e0d776ecaa10ec51fb004b33
I don't know why the other one didn't show the pic but you can still click the link
Silly me. I copied the wrong hug emoji hehe 🤗🤗🤗
I mean sure. People had been jazzing up traditions through the years as technology advances lol 🫂🫂🫂
Wrong emoji again hehe 🤗🤗🤗 They all appear "square" in my pc lol

This is how my community dresses
but yea idkk what u mean by modern traditional
anything traditional can't be modern ig
or maybe i'm wrong
:)
ah okay well ty

This is Batik. The process is in many parts of the world. It involves using wax and dyes to create colorful patterned clothing.

My culture is Irish/Celtic. What we've worn as "traditional" dress has changed throughout our long long history. Here are some examples though.
Women's wear (18th/19th Century)

Men (16th Century)

I'm Bohemian. But, if you look up "bohemian clothing", you will likely get a bunch of long, summer dresses for women, mismatched with several other pieces that just look plain horrible, or at the very least, a colorful nightmare. In this case bohemian is simply an adjective, describing the clothing as a mash-up of colorful "hippie" attire.
I've attached a picture of tradition Bohemian garb, that is, clothing worn by natives of (what was once) the province of Bohemia in Czechoslovakia, a "circle" of land surrounding and including Prague. BTW- I wear golf/polo shirts, not the traditional garb.

This is pretty much a Northumbrian outfit often seen in and around Newcastle.

We do however have our own regional tartan.
Wow yours is absolutely stunning.
I feel like when people hear "French traditional wear" they think of one of two things:

OrBut it's actuallySorry if that was too many photos 😅
For women it's kinda like a cross between a cleaner and a witch. Most little girls love wearing their outfit to school on st davids day or to local parades and you can easily buy both adult and children's sizes in shops. Mens costumes are plainer just waist coat, cap and trousers.

Men wear this to hide lucky genetics, woman look normal.

They still kill bears just to look like this….
I’m a few other European countries mixed.. but I’ll stop here. 😁
I don’t really know lol. But here is what I found on google images

I'm mostly German, but I'll go with Irish in this case, drunk on the ground half-naked singing Danny boy lol
We typically wear warm weather clothes like seersucker, linen, chino type shorts or pants, sundresses for the girls, polo shirts or tshirts. It’s kinda a preppy style. Since it’s summer weather from around Easter until about Halloween and we even had days in the 70s as early as February, that’s what a lot of people in my family and social circles wear most of the year.
Here in the US, typical casual wear is jeans and Tshirts/tops. Office wear for men consists of nice slacks and long-sleeve shirt, no tie, while women may wear a dress, blouse/skirt combo, or a pants and top.
More traditionally, going back 50 years or so... men typically wore baggy pants with a long-sleeve shirt, necktie and a hat, maybe with a matching suit coat, while women typically wore a high neckline short-sleeve dress with hemline at the knee.

there is a lot more but these are just super common one

Like this.
Don't know what 'modern traditional wear' is supposed to be...
Depends how far back you want to go. I'm also not monocultural enough to have a clear option.
Renessance European puffy clothes seem like fun, I guess I'll go with that.
Cowboy hat, cutoff jeans, Justin boots and a Tee. I'm from North Texas.
a T shirt wi something to do with racing on it and bluejeans.
This
Sadly...
There isn't one single dress there are many might change every 100 km just like the language
very interesting question! but I have no idea… hahaha
If it’s modern.. then it’s not traditional. It’s either or
Tacos and Tamales LoL
It looks like the Target clothing department.
Good question, no idea.
Wow i have no idea =)
