What SPF is efficient, 50?

Is an SPF 50 Sunscreen enough to protect the skin from UV rays? There is lesser than 50, 30, 15 in the market but I don't wanna be too risky?

As for me I live by the beach & I use the same as you see in the above photo which is an SPF 50. In the past I used a 30 before switching to a 50 & 30 wasn’t strong enough & I was always getting fried.

50 is as high as you need to go. More than that is just a scam to get more money and the difference (scientifically speaking) is barely noticeable so don't pay more for it.

Don't use any of that poisonous garbage. Even if it wasn't EXTREMELY poisonous (I can send you some science) you still need natural sunlight. You can get some olive oil on your face if you really want, I wouldn't go more than that. Just be careful not to get it in your eyes, because you're also not allowed to wear sunglasses, your eyes need natural light.

Just get some stupid olive oil, it's good for your skin, protects from sunburn, repels mosquitoes, and doesn't screw you if absorbed through skin into the bloodstream.

The SPF extents the amount of time you can spent in the sun, which is depending on your skintone, as darker skin blocks more UV rays than lighter skin.

I think SPF 50 protects even the brightest skin from UV light for 30 mins.

But it should be written on the bottle as well.

Best protection is to avoid long exposure to the sun, espacially during the peak hours.

50 is worthless. Get 100 at least BUT you need to be careful of getting creams or sprays. I forget, but there's an important difference between them, their impact on your health, and their efficacy based on what you are trying to do.

You do understand there is a formula behind it, right? Every SPF stands for ~15 minutes of protection against sunlight radiation. So, if you’re likely to be out in the sun for the next five hours, you should use at least SPF 20.
