In high heels is the surface below your foot sole very important. The shape, hardness and material make the difference between a high heel shoe you can run a marathon with and torture tool. Appearance of the shoe isn't really that important for comfort.

If you haven't noticed yet young women like gen z don't wear heels anymore. I've never in my life wore them. If I see a women in them I automatically assume they are old 😂
