You don't care what girls wear, does the same indifference apply for their hair?

Since it seems that clothes don't help to make women prettier, hopefully the same applies for when women buy too many products to make their hair less frizzy. Right? Or are you going to now say that yes, actually, women going to great lengths (time and money) to make their hair non-frizzy actually pays off?

Well I don't think it is true that clothes don't make women prettier/more beautiful. A lot of clothes don't I'd agree. After 50 years of short skirts they have got a bit ho hum. I find girls in flowing dresses or skirts catch my eye more emphatically.

In point of fact I recognize women I know by their hair. If they change color, cut or how they dress it I often might not recognize them. So inherently I am paying attention to their hair even if it is not conscious on my part.

Certainly pony tails, french plaits or a knot can make me think 'ooh I like her'. Beautifully straightened hair does the same.

So the time and money works on me.

Unless she's got a rats nest going on, yeah her hair isn't that important. By that I mean, straight or curly, I really have no preference and I'm just as likely to a woman who just brushed her hair real quick and threw it in a pony tail then one who spent hrs. Trying to get it just right. I will say that women with long hair tend to attract me more then women with short hair (I dunno why). There's something about long hair that is just defining of a woman. Very few women can pull off the short hair look. And when I say short I mean like a pixie cut. Shoulder length is fine.

I absolutely care when a woman takes the time and effort to look nice. Not to the point where I’m going to criticize a woman for not having sufficient self respect to put some effort in if that isn’t the case, but I definitely enjoy seeing beautiful women who put the time and effort in. In modern society it is not safe to give compliments anymore, so I’m not sure ultimately what if anything will come of appreciating the effort that is less and less often being put in. Lack of compliments understandably contributes to the decline of women (and men) putting in the effort to look good. I would love to give sincere compliments, but I have a career and a family which I can’t afford to lose. Maybe if people in general could learn to take compliments instead of snapping back and making accusations, it would be a somewhat easier world to get along with everybody in.

I care that her hair is not short and isn't some unnatural color (blue, pink, purple, etc.)

I actually do care what she wears. The ripped jeans look looks so bad to me. If she wears those shiny athletic clothes I really like that look the most.

Clothes are definitely important in attraction. If you dress like a hochie people will assume you one (even if you aren't). If you dress respectable, you'll be more likely treated as such. Hair is also important, especially length. As for black women, I wish they'd be more comfortable and confident to rock their natural hair rather then feeling pressured to anglonize their hair. Natural in my opinion always better. Same with respect to makeup

As long as it's long and doesn't look dirty or smell. I seem to like girls with very curly hair a lot more but, I love to run my fingers through her hair and, if it's frizzy or curly, I fear I'll have trouble doing that and might hurt her so, I tend to go after girls with long straight hair or at least slightly wavy or with a little but of curl to it.

To make your hair appear smoother and bouncier? Guys are definitely into that. They appreciate it. Good hair helps the overall appearance.

It depends on the person. Clothing and stuff like that can if done right enhance how the woman looks. But it's mostly personal preference like some like women with frizzy hair and others prefer straight hair. So I personally don't really care as long as she is happy. If she's happy then that's all that matters.

Clothes can certainly boost your outward appearance, so if that's what you mean by "pretty", then your hair can do that too. Or they can detract from it. Sometimes I think of it as "pretty is on the outside, beauty is on the inside".
