Is this a thing among guys to show off their wealth with their watch and for women to show off their wealth with their jewelleries? Like my dad also wears this expensive watch which was one of the most costliest one at the store, beautifully crafted with black ceramic, gold and German silver or whatever that was. I guess it's important for guys as important a necklace is for girls. It kinds of shows your status. And it looks professional.

I can't say what women like, but I've always considered spending more than $30 for a watch to be ridiculous.

However, I met a guy a few years ago who was sporting a Rolex. It stood out like a diamond in a goat's ass. I was impressed, by the watch, not the guy.

So, I could see a woman being dazzled by expensive watches.

I'd still never spend more than $30 for a watch myself, though.

I have a black, thin, and good sized Movado watch with black leather band. I chose black so that it goes with everything. I love it and how it is both subtle and eye catching. It works with Ralph but looks exceptional in suit or Business casual.

Get you lifetime alligator and leather belt and the like black/brown shoes and you will be better served than watch.
