Can I get some advice and guidance about makeup?

I feel awkward and embarrassed admitting this as a straight guy, but I was recently exposed to makeup by someone, which was supposed to be just as a good laugh and for fun, but realized I actually enjoyed wearing it and liked the way it looked. Honestly would like to start wearing it more often commonly, but don’t know how to go about that or where to start. This is all new to me. Can you all give me some recommendations? Also, just for my own personal curiosity, is it weird for a straight to want to wear makeup? And would any girl out there ever find that attractive? Asking for help and advice

i mean it is weird to be honest unless you just do like eyeliner and you kinda of have an edgy style, are Asian or are gay. but i mean if you want to wear makeup you can wear it. people will judge you though obviously if they can tell. i'd say though try only wear a no makeup makeup look and really dont wear much. like just fill in your eyebrows very naturally (eyebrow pencil), wear concealer only in some parts of you face like under you eyes and blend it out very well or wear bb/cc cream all over you face (apply it well so no one can tell. it's way more natural light and sheer version of foundation. never wear foundation it's obvious), if you want to wear mascara or eyeliner that isn't obvious go for brown tint and apply it very carefuly and lightly so you can't tell. if you want to wear eyeshadow only do it in very natural shades and make sure you can't tell. dont wear lipstick or lipgloss just wear chapstick (you can't wear some slightly tinted ones if you want), never wear blush, bronzer, dont try to contour your face. also get sheer setting powder & setting spray to set your makeup. and check every so often your makeup to make sure it doesn't start to look shiny or like you touched your face in a way that made the makeup smudge so no one can figure out your wearing anything

I don't see why not, however I am assuming you mean the kind of makeup that is not too telling. In other words, foundation can be a plus for a guy who isn''t happy with his skin. he may have some flaws he wants to hide. Or, he can enhance his appearance by having a little more color on his face. I have seen men in movies wear makeup in order to enhance their appearances, and it's becoming. If women wear some to look better, why not allow men to do this as well? Maybe it's about time. My peronsal opinion is--qs long as you dont use eyeliner--because some women would not want that. Many of us are like men who prefer the natural look with eyes--no eyeshadow, etc. by the way, there is makeup for men in stores. I thought I saw some in Target a few weeks ago.

You can go to a store that sells make up like sephora and they will show you how for free if you buy something. If you like something, you should feel free to enjoy it don’t care what others like.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a straight guy wearing makeup. Obviously if you want to maintain a masc appearance you will want to avoid eye makeup, but I actually advise my guy friends to wear some basic makeup for job interviews and such as it is what forms their first impression of you and if you're competing with someone with similar credentials, it could make the difference.

Best advice, go to Sephora or MAC in the mall and ask them to teach you, they don't mind, they do it all the time.
