Girls, Leggings or shorts?

Nowadays girls mainly wear leggings in a gym. Depending on the season, I wear a legging or a short. Why is it that most girls wear leggings?

- it is dictated by gym fashion rules, so everybody does it.

- they feel insecure about their legs and hide them

- other reason

I like leggings because they don’t restrict my movement like jeans do, and they keep me cool whereas sweatpants trap in too much heat. I don’t wear them during summer though. During summer I wear shorts and dresses, no long pants or leggings.

I mix both. If I’m doing more running I’ll wear shorts, but leggings are most comfortable to work out in for me

Shorts in Summer for sure. It could be either one in Winter depending on the daily weather. I do like leggings as an alternative to jeans wherever I can wear them in Winter.

Regarding your question, I think most girls follow the crowd in the gym, though it could be an insecurity issue for some.

Mostly I wear leggings to cover the scars on my legs from a long ago accident.

I mix but I think shorts/biker shorts are making a comeback.

i used to wear legging in gym but the changed to keep my skirts
