Don't you hate makeup?

There's this girl who looks drop dead gorgeous to me. She looks like someone I'd never have a chance with.

But recently I saw she had posted a picture of her without makeup. I saw that she has a rounder face, her skin looks pale and her lips are different, she has been using a lip maximizer or something. And now that "out of league look" was gone. But, still in my eyes she looks very pretty to me. I wish she didn't use makeup.

I don't care even if people blame me, but I hate how makeup ruins certain things like someone's natural beauty and how it can change someone into a person who they are not.

So fundamentally, I like makeup, but only in ways I personally find appealing. Some eyeliners, some styles of lipstick, yeah. There's certain aesthetics you can't match. I also think someone who looks good in natural can look good in makeup. Of course, I like to know what someone looks like without it if I'm thinking about dating them, or whatever.

But on the flipside, let people do what they want. Even if you think it looks bad, they're probably just doing it for themselves. Plenty of people want to like who they see in the mirror.

psh sometimes makeup makes people feel confident and that's totally not a bad thing. there's also filters for pictures, etc... you'll never know the real person unless you wake up next to them. soon you'll see outwards appearance doesn't matter as much as inward appearance.

However makeup is military armour for women, it is like mean wearing military uniforms or suits for example. It's all about conformity. It's sad but it's part of the dress code of many modern cultures.

No. Its cute in moderation. For example, I have very light eye lashes so they aren't really visible without mascara. I look better with it on. However, most women seem to do too much makeup. Some even look like robots or a transgender man because they have so much makeup on. I don't like when women put makeup all over their face either. It should just be for eyes and lips.

I don't hate makeup at all, provided that the woman's natural appearance is still attractive to me. I know what women can do with makeup and a lot of it is really quite artful, so it doesn't surprise or disappoint me when I see women without makeup.

I love make up! Lipsticks and eyeliners but I don’t wear them all the time. As a girl I need to wear makeup in certain occasions to look even prettier and so the final look can match with the hair style, heels, nail polish.
