Would it be weird for a guy to get a manicure done? Or is it expected/unexpected?

In one of my previous question, I got one opinion that said, girls notice the nails of guys.

I have a nail biting habit. As soon as I read that, I made it clear to consciously stop eating or biting nails.

They are growing now. But they don't seem to be presentable.

Do is it weird for a guy to do manicure?

I wouldn't. It costs too much for something you can easily do yourself. Also, it's a bit... Limp wristed if you catch my drift...

Buy some nail clippers and cut them 1mm above where the white of your nail begins... No more no less. For men, cut across in a squarish shape. DO NOT cut them too short. Nails that have been cut right down to the bed resemble chewed nails only mildly tidier.

Chewing your nails does a lot of damage that takes your damaged nail to grow all the way out in order to repair. Let your nails grow, keep them trimmed and you will have gorgeous hands in no time. Not only the appearance but the strength and thickness of your nails will also drastically improve.

To further assist the process, avoid using your nails as a tool (picking off stickers, opening cans or whatever) this puts strain them as they are being flexed.

Big ups to you for kicking this habit. I'm excited for you to feel good about your man hands :)

I thought of that. You were right to assume. Go to them one time, observe them, how they do it, and then try at home. But you gave me another way to do it. And really good at that! So, thanks!

I dont care if a guy goes to keep his feet clean and healthy looking but if he's getting french manicure or that clear coating on his nails then thats a turnoff to me. I bite my fingernails so i could care less if a guy bites his too. I’m not a feet person so as long as he has socks on, i’m not paying his toes any attention

No polish or other girly stuff. Just make sure there is no dirt underneath, not too long, and no sharpness that can scratch her skin painfully. That's pretty much it.

It is uncommon for a man to get a manicure or pedicure. But not bad.

In fact, it's pretty relaxing to do so.

It's not weird, it's just unexpected because guys usually don't care about getting a manicure. Biting nails is a nasty and unhealthy habit, so I'm glad you quit. As long as he doesn't paint his nails, I see no problem with a man getting a manicure.
