No, it's something that executive guys tend to do. Even some guys who work with their hands a lot will occasionally go get one just to be a little more polished when they're prepping for a date or important anniversary, etc.

Doing so might seem effeminate. It would also depend on where you live. I live in Los Angeles and it’s not uncommon to see men with painted nails and acrylics. As to whether or not they are gay is not for me to determine. If you live somewhere that has narrower views of gender then that’s something to consider.

true. I think in most areas people would think a guy wearing acrylics is gay. I suppose it is rather effeminate, though it would also depend on how he carried himself. I could maybe see a straight dude rocking some black acrylics if they were shorter. anything with color (especially pink) and that is longer will likely read as gay
