I think think I'm very ugly. Rejections over the years, looking at myself in the mirror, not being complimented by people other than friends and family, and the ratings strangers have given me low ratings have combined to form a picture to myself that I must be below normal.

Your mindset can have a huge impact on how you carry yourself indirectly influencing your appearance. Whenever I feel confident or just really calm in the morning, I feel like I look good throughout the day.

Believe it or not, a lot of women prefer men who are confident. I don’t receive compliments from strangers either, but I know that I look beautiful to those who appreciate and love me for who I am. Your self esteem should not be dependent on others validation. You cannot change your appearance unless you are up for plastic surgeries. Why waste money?

Not everyone is photogenic. I’m not photogenic either, that is why I don’t have many pictures of myself. Do you know how many “good” pictures I have of myself? 4, and 1 video where I feel like I look somewhat good. Lighting and angles make a huge difference. The color of your dress, your hairstyle and your body language does too. I look TERRIBLE in pictures, but I look good IRL. Seriously though, if you have an iPhone camera, it somehow makes you look 10x worse than you actually look.

Not all women care too much about appearance. As long as you take care of yourself, and have a good personality, you will look your best. It’s not important to fit the societal definition of “good”, it’s always advisable to look your best. I’ve had crushes on “average looking” guys, 9/10 times it was because they had a good personality or a great fashion sense.

Yes from certain angles. Like when i look in the mirror, i like my face from the front but not from the side. When i look at my body, i like it more from the side and sometimes front but not the back
