What do you think of this outfit? Would it work for plus size bodies (5'1" 183lbs Pear shaped for example)?

If the skirt were bought large enough that it didn't dig into her legs/gut, which is where most normal plus sized people F it up. It never does that on plus size models because they are wearing their ACTUAL size, not the size that has a number on it that their ego says they should wear.
Larger ladies, you will never look as good in a smaller size as you will in the right size. Shoving 5lbs of sausage into a 3lb casing isn't the look you want to go for.
For models those are usually costume made / adjusted for their bodies.
It is borderline impossible for me to find skirts or pants that don't dig into your fat at least a bit.
The only solution is either to use shapewear or wear something high enough waist that it avoids all the "danger area".
Yeah roger on the custom made stuff, and obviously as you move that changes. but I was talking more about your leg than stomach. if it's making your thigh have cleavage it's on too tight (and likely impeding circulation for that matter). If you need a larger size for your thighs than waist, the answer is to wear a belt, not have your legs shoehorned in.
I haven't seen anyone dress like that before. 😅
It's quite a disaster.
Nakedness is the best outfit, take care of your body so it can defy gravity for as long a possible, there's nothing you can really do otherwise, and make sure you do not become dilusional, because what good is a fine car if the motor is fucked up?
I think it would mostly look nice like other person said as long as the skirt isn’t digging into your thighs like how tight the models is would look more uncomfortable on a bigger person.
No i don’t think that models clothing is custom made or adjusted that’s more for runways where everything has to look perfect while moving not casual fashion sometimes they will pin it or clip it at the back for catalog stuff. You can probably find a short denim skirt cut slightly outwards at bottom rather than a straight down or inwards at the hem this would prevent the thigh squeeze.
Well, either way I have to find pants/skirts that reach almost to my breasts to avoid getting a bit of a "muffin top" so it's not really avoidable most of the time.
Tho I really don't get the digging into your thighs part, I have never seen anyone have a problem with that.
Yeah I think if you wear plus sizes they already take that in mind with the design not like how the skirt is tight on the models legs. High waist would work sometimes you can hide a bit of muffin with a loosely tucked top.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Tho it really sucks how fashion designers restrict your options when you're plus sized...
