Would a bodycon dress be flattering on a pear-shaped body?

So I’m a tall pear shape. My hips are wide and I have a small waist. Would it look bad?

I wear a lot of bodycon dresses and because of my curves and being pear shaped it very flattering on my body especially the waist. When ever I let a friend or one of my sisters lend one from me who my be less curvey, says it doesn't work for them because it makes them look flat.

Bodycon dresses are only flattering on hourglass and pear shaped bodies... Why do you need to ask? that's how models who wear them in pictures always look like..

The problem with many women with pear/hourglass shape who hesitate to wear body contact is mainly because of some belly fat/hip dips/cellulite or some other part that they think is a bit bulky and feel embarrassed about that.

I suggest to not fret about it much if that is your issue. If you wanna wear it go for it, I'm sure you would look great if you choose a dress with the right build and color for your body structure and skin tone. But you can use spanx if you really really want to, but you don't really need it.

I don't really like it but if you want to wear it then do so and don't let anyone tell you not to. The reason girls all look and dress the same is the fact that they're all scared to do their own thing so to "blend in" they just dress the same as their counterparts.
