Help me choose top or bottom one?

Depends on what for. Top is more utilitarian. If you only have one bag that's the one to get. Like a guy's first suit should always be black or charcoal grey so it can go with most everything. If dude's got thirty suits he can buy less useful colors. My fist bag is now right around 20 years old. Still use it.

I wouldn't be a fan of either.

The old-school style buckles would drive me nuts, and the straps tend to wear quickly with that type of buckle.

If it has to be one of those two, my grudgingly made choice is blue.

I usually love my bags and footwear in black or dark blue. So, I pick the one because it looks better and it won't look dirty easily and it will match with your outfit more than the red one.

The blue one is nicer and it appears to be on sale, which is an added bonus.

It depends on if you like red or blue more. The top one costs less though so I'd choose that and save $20 since they are the same style.
