What should someone even wear with with dress?

sorry for low res image but it’s basically a linen sack dress with modest floral-esque stitching at the bottom. Like, what kinds of shoes even match this sort of style?

it really also depends on the occasion. I don't know anything about fashion, but I think you could wear sneakers or sandals or even some not too high white strap type shoes.

I'd say something brown but, sometimes too much of one color, can be well, exactly that, too much. I'd find a color that goes well with brown, that isn't brown, just to mix it up
