Opinions on black button ear studs on guys?

Deciding to change up my style before university. What are your thoughts on specifically these types of piercings? Would they look better on one ear or both?

Seems like the majority are either neutral or against them for whatever reason. Definitely not worth the hassle of getting then. I’ll look for other ways to change my style.

Both ears if possible, if it draws attention to the sides of your face then you want symmetry, if you are particularly masculine I would actually suggest something "feminine" eg I'm a decent height, beard, fairly strong jaw, I have gauged ears and right now the jewelry is a circle of teal stones, more than once girls I don't know have complemented them so I have to assume it works ha, what we're you thinking for hair and clothing?

It's not my style, but I'm probably biased. Every guy I have known to wear them is either a stoner and/or unemployed, and not really trying to do much with their life.
