Opinion on tattoos? do you like them why/why not? would you get one why/why not?

I do love tattoos, but it mostly also depends on what the tattoo is.

Was briefly dating this guy, he seemed pretty soft, and the attraction was barely there, but I gave it a chance. Found out he had a simple tattoo on his forearm, just two thick lines around. And apparently he became more attractive... that was so weird to me.

My best friend has a lot at this point. We did talk about getting our first together, but I could never decide... and now she has like 11 or something.

So yeah. I would like to get some for myself, but I could never decide on anything.

I like them but I don't like them for me. So I don't think I'll ever get one but if I was to get one someday which I'm not the tattoo artist would have to be a true artist and whatever design that I came up with. It would have to be placed on my body where every move that I'm making it is a part of that movement and it flows it's just not a big square block or something like that it has to flow with everything that I'm doing art is Beautiful but like I said it has to have it has to be able to speak in a roundabout way if I've bend over it's going to bend over with me and it's going to move with every move that I do and you're going to you'll be able to feel it see it and it will be I will be a part of it and will be a part of me it's kind of hard to explain but the tattoos that I don't like are when guys have them or girls have them and whatever design they have it it looks just like a big square block almost tattoo or around block or just an object block it doesn't flow

I despise them and they were always a relationship deal breaker. I would have had a fling with a hot girl that ruined her skin for life with some permanent green ink glob but I would have never committed to such a person.

I think the world (western world mainly) has fallen into some kind of tattoo cult over the last 20-30 years.

I would never have married anyone who was in a cult and had such a sheep like mind who'd just do anything they see the culture doing.

There is nothing prettier and sexier than a young woman's flawless skin. There is nothing more abhorrent than scarring that skin for life with some ugly green, factory ink. A natural scar would be preferable 1,000 times out of a 1,000.

I hate that they are permanent. If they were temporary and wore off after a few weeks then ok... but people are altering their skin/body for life, they'll never look the same again... with GREEN ink. I hate that and this cult of a generation that believes/feels everyone should have a tattoo. Everyone 18 year old just flippantly runs out and scars themselves for life because that is just the culturally "hip" thing to do.

Loosely ambivalent, I generally don't like them if they're "ugly" (ex. in an art style I find unattractive, but what people put on their body is their business). I would never get one personally, but that's because I have a fear of needles and the like.

I like tattoos. I got my first one when I was 24 and I have multiple now. I can hide all of them tho if I want to with where they are placed. I get a lot of compliments for them as well. In my early twenties I had a now ex-boyfriend who told me that he would find me repulsive if I got one. That wasn’t the only reason why we broke up but it was definitely on the list

I like them and they can look really attractive on women, but ironically also a red flag for me. Especially at my age I am immediatley wondering if they're the reckless and impulsive.

As for me, I want tattoos, but I am not going to get them right now. I'd rather wait till I am older, since what I think looks cool now I doubt I'll find looking good in a decade from now.

A little goes a long way. The full sleeve and neck tattoos are gross. It turns out that all that ink leaches into your body with negative consequences.

I thought about getting one but could not decide on what I wanted to mark up my body with. Besides I dont like needles.

t. b. h. most tattoos are a turnoff for me. and although most people dont regret, still around 20% did regret a tattoo which is many many people. so at most get a temporary tat. let it fade.
