IF I'm thinking about men, I like fresh, woodsy with some fruit and floral. I think lavender is the sex neutral go-to. Everyone smells great with lavender.

I have an old school 1700s fragrance men used to wear that I wear. It's called Royall Bay Rhum. Florida Water also smells pretty good. From a bit later. 1800s. Both were used to mask body odor and to keep mosquitoes away! But good fragrances nonetheless.

I adore coconut, cinnamon and like mixed cherries type of smells. or plain vanilla is also heavenly.

Natural. Her own scent, and if she does wear something I'd rather it be a lightly scented natural extract of some kind. I'd rather smell patchouli than some fake, manmade, chemical garbage that came out of a laboratory. 🤢

my wife does not wear perfume but years ago i dated a girl that used to use something called Cachet. I sort of liked it.

I have a few I cycle between. There's some floral, some fruity citrusy and some with a bit of Musk. Ones I wear mostly is YSL opium, Tom Ford vanille fatale, Tom Ford tobacco vanille and Viktor & Rolf flowerbomb

It's like a pheromone that can be beneficial to the individual wearing it.

@DeeDeeDeVour Oh? How so? I'm not big on fragrances, but I do like the smell of patchouli though. It also reminds me of hippy, free spirit, down to earth kind of girls, and that's a-okay to me. lol 😊

Some musky men's perfumes contain patchouli oil that were originally meant to repel insects. However, studies (in the Asian Far East) have revealed that it the musky aroma also attracts women (Asian women, at least).

My husband had a bottle of it. I've already been very much in love with him before he was gifted a bottle of that musky men's perfume with patchouli. So, we can't prove whether or not the results of the studies are accurate.

@DeeDeeDeVour Ah, I see. I had no idea patchouli had mosquito repelling qualities! Studies have shown that oregano is one of the most effective mosquito repellants as well. Although, that one's a bit more of a hard sell, unless you want to smell like a Neapolitan pizza or something. 😂

Fruit, floral, and fresh. I would say they are often pretty nice scents on their own anyway and if a woman has one that works for her I imagine it can be really nice and pretty relaxing.
