My girlfriend wore a garter belt I got her, and it was not a solid color, but her and my favorite color stockings were 'Taupe" or "suntan". I was and am a 'stocking freak" Sue called her her "hose freak" LOLOL

I love black opaque stockings, they are practical and great in the fall. Also some other colorful solids, but only for a special occasion.
I also have micro polka dot and heart patterns that are cute, but maybe a little childish.
