when i was 16, one time i wore shredded tights and i thought i look so cool and badass, but i got a lot of those like wtf stares and got multiple comments on it including from the principal who said i looked like i'd been raped by an entire rugby team lol
The dress is gorgeous, but I’m guessing the staring is because it gives off an old fashioned vibe, and slightly gothic also.
Yeah that's probably it just wasn't thinking about it beforehand though. I do have an idea to make it more of a vampire thing - I've already got a black cloak lined with red velvet, all I need to get is some tights maybe skulls or bats or something and some fangs to go with it lol
Oh god... girl what a great dress.. what a beauty and nice colors.. that is exact what my lady loves to wear.. ( the longer version )
Good choice. 😍♥️♥️♥️🥰🥰
Clothes are so icky these days... clothes used to be more elegant for both men and women.. i'm not saying we all have to put on a wig but those clothes where classy. 😁
If I saw you in that dress I would look, walk up to you and bow elegantly like a gentleman.. that is fur sure. 🤗
Since I wear a lot of historical clothing (1920s, 1940s, and Victorian) I get stares too. Do I care? Nope. Will I still dress that way? Yup!
Being unique is important. I'd rather not be like everyone else. My appearance and fashion choices mean more to me than what others think. Plus, I get nice comments once in a while.

i remember i wore this weird dress... it was light green had no straps you wore it like a tube top and the skirt was short but frilly... so on one hand i thought it was sexy but on the other it was weird i guess

Some type of fringe crop top... When I was 14. Looks like it's raining worms
I remember those it's very 90s/2000s vibe, my dad wouldn't let me wear them though lol
lol yea cuz people have no taste they just wear what they see on tv. it happens to me all the time.
Are you sure they're actually giving you a face and they just have a bad case of RBF? you may be reading more into them then is reality
I actually had someone look at me and frown, then pointed at me while talking to a friend both turn and look at me and then frowned at each other while actually turning their heads to watch me walk past them, the whole time frowning. So I would love to say I misconceived it, truly I would.
Some of my heeled chelsea boots and leather gloves inspire comments for being a little too extra, lol.
But I've mastered the art of ignoring the quips of the fashion peasants.
Yeah my skinbekladnad gets looks as does the peacock feather hat
Swedish military coat
black leather, lambswool collar and pockets deep enough for a Luger each
The hat genuinely had someone pull up and tell me they loved it
I keep that for ice and snow, it's like an oven
My other leather jacket is good in rain and wind
I have a medieval style long coat that I absolutely love. I get mixed reactions to it. Some look at me like I'm a psycho and some people love it as well. I get mostly compliments for it though.
I have a hat I like. It's a South African style similar to what the farmers wear. My wife hates it. Says I look like a Boer in it.
I had this really cool sweater, then I had a growth spurt and it looked ridiculous.
Yes, a pair of Gucci loafers that are brown, red, and yellow on white.
I haven't, but if I did I would not care what others thought. You shouldn't either. Ignore them and enjoy it for you.
Love it! Don't listen to what other people day ❤️
Did a lotta people where them in the 2000's?
It is cool :)
Rachel Makesy and Karolina Żebrowska on YouTube make a lotta cool costumes
Probably, I just don't care enough to notice.
I think it’s cute
I like it a lot
