What should I do if the nail salon gave me the wrong type of manicure and charged me for it and now it’s chipping?

Asked for no-chip but instead got a regular one. Now it’s chipping. The nail tech told me to calm down and “shhh” when I asked if it was no-chip.

Do what most normal, sensible level headed people in making a formal complaint to the salon owner/manager.

I sent an email. I don't know I should have spoken up at the salon more when paying but it’s so quiet in there it would have been a scene.

You really should have raised your concerns/complaints at the time, and regardless as to whether it was quiet or not, there is never any reason or excuse to create a scene.

You just simply remain calm, polite but forceful in making yourself clear.

I had also brought this up at the counter “she did a regular manicure not a no-chip” and she just ended up charging me regular manicure price.
