Why do people accuse stunning/very conventionally attractive people of plastic surgery?

i’m genuinely curious about this, does it make their beauty not seem as unattainable? does it stem from insecurity/jealousy?

I am not a stunning or conventionally very attractive person. However, I am white passing middle eastern and my lips were not super thin like many white people though it is not very thick as well. However, they look just normal in size and overall, they are not very asymetrical. I once shared the pic of my lips online, and the comments were crazy. People were accusing me of getting lip fillers because white people are supposed to have super thin lips otherwise there is something going on about the way you look. Nowadays, people are just putting others down for their own satisfaction, and internet is definitely not a very good place to share your face to begin with. I am just learning it.

neither do I. It was just crazy how people just said they were fillers just because it didn't look like this🤣🤣

I think it makes them feel better about not being stunning. It’s as if they convince themselves the ONLY reason they too, aren’t stunning, is because they haven’t resorted to surgical methods. Honestly I’ve only ever heard women make that accusation. For the record, I am not stunning or in any way worried about people accusing ME of that!

I've never accused conventionally attractive people of plastic surgery unless their lips or boobs look really fake. You can tell real from fake.
