I don't like wearing snow boots, cause they don't look good and all that but, I prefer wearing hiking boots most of the time because I'm fairly short and they give me a little bit of a lift. The problem is, I then have a huge problem with having to tie them.

What I want are a pair of hiking boots, that you can just slip on. I dn't think there's such thing though because, you need to be "snug" in tight, with the laces, for hiking boots, right?

Any pair will do. I even wear them with shorts when working outside. It affords me protection working around heavy equipment and backwoods hazards rarely encountered like snakes or animals. But usually I wear them with jeans.
