Do you often look at your younger self and envy that you?

I keep looking at pictures of my younger self when I was much smaller and wish I could get back to that. I hate how I look now.

Mostly really young people, who don't understand, answering; so, I shall give a better answer as someone nearing his 40s. I totally get it. I look back at my younger self and wish I could get that healthy youthful glow again. My face has changed a bit over the years. And I am a competitive athlete but my body gets so sore unlike before.

People have told me I still look young though and that I don't look my age.

We're overly critical of ourselves as fragile humans. Have to stay positive and accept the aging process.

Maybe it's because I'm in my 30s that I feel like I'm having an early midlife crisis. But that's good you don't feel how I feel. Hopefully you won't feel this way when you get in your 30s. And thanks for understanding how I feel as far as experiencing envy goes.

I like myself now the most. I took care of my health, habits, and career. I wouldn't change it back to be just younger.
