What are your thoughts on moissanite-made jewelry?

Never tried moissanite, but I'm open to exploring new options.

Insofar as moissanite is, you know, a rock, I think the idea of it coming to life and making other jewelry is impressive but creepy. I mean, is like making more of themselves, or like taking their genetic material and commercializing it? The idea is like watching snowmen have a snowball fight.

If you just mean jewelry made OF moissanite, rather than BY it, then it's okay. The whole point of diamonds is to look pretty, and moissanite looks pretty much the same. But then, so does glass. Were it up to me, I'd probably want something more colorful. A good black opal, say; or tanzanite. Maybe alexandrite, but then I'd spend all day running inside and outside to watch the color change.
