Wanting to donate to this foundation but scared?

Hey so I saw a foundation that goes to kids with Cancer and I am thinking of becoming a shavee and raise money to donate to the St Baldricks Foundation..

I'm just scared of the fact I would be having my head shaved bald..

What advice you can give about this situation so I can go ahead and go forward with this?

There will be times in your life where you feel inadequate. Where you'll feel intimidated, or unable to rise to a significant challenge, or beaten down by the constant bombardments of life and the world.

In those moments, being able to look back on something real and concrete that you did will give you a bulwark to protect yourself. Decades from now, when the world calls you shallow, vain, and materialistic, you'll remember what you did here, and laugh in its face.

If you intend to do online dating afterward, you can say on it that you donated hair on a particular month or year. Then only those who appreciate such generosity to others will be potentially interested. 🙂

You can also donate your hair instead of just shaving it, and have short hair for a time. But you really don’t have to shave your head to be a good person or support this organization. It seems you really don’t want to but are pressuring yourself. So be honest with yourself
