Yes and no. There are generalizations as in all things for what is conventionally attractive or handsome. Now with that out of the way. Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. This means that some of the conventional along with none conventional things will make you attractive to people. For example long hair and shoulder length hair are the top 2 spots for conventional attractiveness in terms of hair length. Long hair is generally just below your bust. Most people like those 2 points for hair length. For some people they like shorter hair. And for others myself the longer the better. My wife is 5'3 and her hair is about 5'1 in a couple more months it will be touching the floor. It is also very thick hair. Not as thick as mine but thick enough that it looks phenomenal.

Yes it is subjective some just have a lot more fans than others. I have had it both ways honestly. I have been against the popular opinion where I thought a girl was hot and no else did or everyone thought a girl was hot and I didn't. I have also been in the popular opinion and met someone who disagreed. And I have seen it where it was split about 50/50. Example I do not think Taylor Swift is hot like many do.

each of us has our own perception and filters... so we see beautiful or interesting people in different ways than others... some elements are more or less universal as created during evolution and printed in our minds, but we create our own variations...

and a lot of people don't pay much attention to looks... of course, some things can be more alluring than others (smile, eyes, hair, hands), but still... we create relationships with minds, not appearances...

Beauty is subjective and everyone has different taste, but the majority of people find similar features attractive. That's why you have models. Because they are attractive to the majority.

Fit and athletic people with specific body proportions and facial features will always be more attractive to most people.

Beauty is mostly the same for most people but there are tweeks we all like individually. Social things can factor in also. For example. I don't think you could find a person on this Earth that thinks Ana De Armas or Chris Hemsworth is unattractive. Now I'd prefer a 6/10 girl that is aggressive and confident over a 7/10 that is shy.

Yep it’s very subjective. Everyone has pretty much completely different outlooks and what they consider beauty and handsome. Yes there are types such as models who tick this, then you see them without make up etc.

That's a loaded question. Because subjective beauty does exist. But objective beauty is where it all begins.

So no, it's not something that is just said to make people feel better. But people need to understand subjective beauty doesn't just happen. You have to do something to make people see you as having subjective beauty.

I’d say there’s conventional ideals of beauty…and those are largely objective but there are people who are still desired who don’t meet those standards in many ways so in that regard it’s subjective
