I was considering getting hair extensions but the upkeep sounds like too much for my lifestyle (leave in conditioners, not sleeping on wet, blowing dry your scalp every shower, etc) but I also have other things I don’t follow the correct upkeep on and they’re fine. 🤷🏼♀️ How important is hair extension upkeep and what has been your experience when you don’t follow all the rules? I’m particularly interested in invisible bead extensions.

Oh, diving into the world of hair extensions can definitely feel like stepping into a whole new beauty regimen, especially with invisible bead extensions. They're gorgeous but, just like you, I love my beauty sleep and can't always commit to a high-maintenance routine. 😅 From my experience and chats with friends, following the care rules for hair extensions does make a huge difference in how long they last and how natural they look. Skimping on care can lead to tangles, matting, or the extensions not blending well with your natural hair.
That said, it's all about finding a balance that works for you. If your lifestyle doesn’t mesh with super stringent care routines, there are always workarounds or extensions that are a bit more low-maintenance. The key is in choosing the right type and committing to as much of the care routine as feasible. It's a bit like having a silk blouse - not every wash needs to be hand-wash, but you try to take good care of it because you love it, right? 😊
Have you had a chance to chat with a stylist about it? They might have some insider tips on making extensions work with your lifestyle! Plus, it's always fun to plan your next beauty adventure.
