thanks maya for helping me come up with this question too ❤️☺️

- Simplicity
- Comfort
- Ease of care
- Not wanting to look like a slob, but not too fancy either; business casual.
I have a personal uniform style; short sleeve button shirt, trousers and Oxford-style shoes, all black. I choose 35%/65% poly-cotton blends because they resist fading and balance light weight and breathability quite well which is a must for me as I overheat very easily. I’m stuck with shared, poorly maintained laundry facilities so a lot of variety is a no-no. Besides, being a guy, there isn’t much variety available anyway. At home I wear crocs-style sandals and Dockers golf shorts in porcelain khaki. When I need to go out in warmer weather, I just add one of my black shirts to what I wear at home; it works out well.
When I was about your age, there was a girl in my building who was an exception to the rule that girls like a lot of variety in clothing. She stated that her entire wardrobe was black and white, and I don’t recall seeing her in anything else. Fortunately for her I suppose, her hair and skin tone were an excellent match for her wardrobe.
My style is inspired by eras of the past, in particular the 1920s - 1950s. Also inspired by shows like Peaky Blinders, Mad Men, and Boardwalk Empire. Movies like Angels with Dirty Faces, the Untouchables, Legends, and Lawless.
I enjoy the business casual style of clothing, with my own twist on it. I am an artsy individual, really into art and edgy style.
I made my own style, out of articles of clothing I am drawn to!
It's business attire with a twist for the office, being primarily victorian inspired, structured clothing like well fitting blazers, high collar blouses, black lace overcoats, etc.
While my street style is edgy casual, with an artistic flare of accessories! Like dark denim skinny jeans, with black leather cropped jacket, paired with my sheer black blouse, and heel booties or wedges. I add accessories like thick bangle bracelets in red tones for a pop of colour, adding a large statement necklace or choker too, and some hair accessories like pins or clips.
My style is Victorian inspired, while still being artsy, pops of colours, bold accessories, bold patterns, a bit of edginess, while also being fully comfortable, reliable, modest and something I feel confident in. :)

It's wonderful that your mood plays such a big role in selecting your clothing! Feeling happy and opting for bright, vibrant colors can really add a burst of positivity to your day and certainly influences those around you too. 💖 It's like wearing your heart on your sleeve, literally. And shoutout to Maya for sparking such a fun conversation! Choosing what to wear based on how you feel is a great way to express your personality and emotions. Have you found any colors that you gravitate towards more often when you're in a good mood?
Well good job Amy. Just like the other bots that the older gents on this site gush over... you failed. This is like an epic fail. F*ck your shoutout to me you dumb...
Never mind. I'll keep it together for our young friend. Your opinion is garbage per usual and I won't even get a response to absolutely destroy you in a conversation. What a pathetic display.
Honestly, @EmmaMary could you bestoy an award when you have time? Thank you.
@Fashionista Amy
CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING THE TROLL OF THE MONTH AWARD.

I follow Chic Attitude because I can relate to most of her content.
Comfort is my main concern. Most of my purchases are based on that is comfortable to wear
in *scool we had uniforms, but without scool name.
i continued that style many years, fancy dark slacks, black loafers

button shirts. it was boring but i didn't wanna change...

finally i got fed up n bought my first t shirt, so: red to break free from elegant. now the polo colored shirts a bit like charlie in series 2.5 men.

Up until high school I didn't really know anything about fashion. I did have an idea for aesthetic in a sense. Like I knew what looked good and bad. And I was fit, so back in high school I'd always wear shirts that hugged my figure and jeans. I didn't think too much outside of that.
Once I got into college and got into social media, I got into Pinterest. I started exploring the types of aesthetic I liked and came about boho style. It reflected my personality the most because a lot of its aspects try to incorporate nature. And now over the years, I've become completely obsessed with boho fashion and home decor and furniture.
The temperature if it’s cold outside I will wear thermals jeans and a shirt with a sweatshirt or jacket I will also wear thermals to bed during these months if it’s hot outside I will wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt and I will wear underwear to bed also what I will be doing that day if I have work I will wear oil field clothes if I am at home I will wear my underwear all day if I am swimming I will wear my jammers if I am cycling I will wear my bike shorts if I am riding my motorcycle I will wear protective gear
For me, it’s usually comfort… and if it’s reasonably clean.
I tend to dress geeky - I like loose t shirts, (usually some science fiction or gaming reference), and favoring darker colors.
I try not to be too sloppy. But I probably look it - I’ll comb my hair, and ten minutes later, it looks like I just rolled out of bed. My nephews are a bit young, so they’ll get me HUGE shirts (I can usually do XL, but they’ll get me 3XL (lol))
For meetings where I have to be out, I’ll usually do a black button up dress shirt and black pants. Belt. I’ll shave most of the time, but I like a bit of stubble with a goatee (and mustache). I rarely bother with gel any more. If it’s semi informal, black baseball cap. Ribbon cutting, I’ll usually try to wear a pin that is related to the business being celebrated (A tooth for a dentist, a spine for a chiropractor, etc).
If it’s more formal work, then no cap, gelled hair.
What fits because I have little interest in shopping for clothes so I grab the first things I see that are my size try them on if they fit its purchased. That is precisely why my wife does the clothes shopping. Evidently my lack of fashion sense is a "problem"
I'm probably the only guy left who remembers the Highlander television series...
I never went in for Connor Macleod's look... but Duncan. Yeah.

Basically I've been an edgelord since long before "edgelord" was even a thing.
Good question. For me it's comfort first and nothing else matters. Im also "that guy" in shorts and a t shirt in -20° weather. I would rather be a Popsicle than be hot BY CLOTHING. If I'm hot by sun THATS AWESOME! 95° and sunny every day is PERFECT. I'm also stuck in the 80s and lucky for me everything old is new again!
My style is based on my own likes and what I or wifey feels looks good on me. I used to spend hours understanding the latest trend and so forth but also ended up buying clothes that I believed looked good on me when reality it didn't.
I don't really have any influencer that has anything to do with my style. I just like what feels comfortable and doesn't look like I'm homeless. My usual outfit is jeans or khakis and a nice shirt with or without a collar. A leather belt around my waist and a pair of boots plus a hat to keep my hair from falling in my face.
Not much too it but very comfortable and looks nice.
Most of the time, it depends on my mood, like today I feel blue so I wear blue 💙.
It's not defined, Today I can be elegant and tomorrow in pajamas too
Don't know how to explain but it's exactly like how you choose
Unfortunately it would appear that I am blocked in honouring the "recipient" of "her" award.
I like to be smart so i choose smart clothes, and also sports so sometimes sporty clothes
Well I spend a lot of my free time on Instagram so some of the people I follow influence what I wear
Kim K. Womanly. Hourglass. Grown woman clothing, neutral colours, Doja Cat, Natalie Portman I guess is my answer
I basically buy what I like as long as it’s a good brand name good quality clothing I don’t like thin material and clothing that shrinks fast
I pretty much still dress the way I did when I was in high school
Johnny Bravo. I've literally only worn bleached washed jeans and a plain black T shirt since 1999
