Do you prefer tan or pale skin?

In guys, I like whatever the skin tone is naturally. I think tanning is really bad for everyone, though. It causes so much damage over time. I wish there was more emphasis on generally healthy skin, whatever the color.

Left pic doesn't look too bad, but with the lens, you can see the devastation.

I know one opinion won't change anyone's mind or stop tanning, but it is as unhealthy as smoking, just in a different way.

I think both look good depending on facial appearance and clothing and body style. I know girls who look better with pale skin and I know girls who look better with more yellow or bronze skin. Jennifer Lopez looks better darker with tanned skin and Nicole Kidman looks better with pale skin.

I don't care for tanned women. A slight, golden tan from swimming outdoors during the summer can be nice, though. But dark tanning makes their skin look leathery and less tender and delicate.

And too much sun is really bad for skin in the long run.

Tanned is good , but never ever sun bake or use sun beds , highly dangerous , this cancer will kill you and kill you quickly , so tanned but within reason only.

Either is fine as long as it's  healthy.  Sickly pale and unnaturally dark tans don't look good. I  hate  fake tans, especially when it's clearly overdone.

Really depends on who. Yes I think tan skinned people are hot. I think tan lines are particularly sexy. But I have had girlfriend's mostly redheads, with that milkwhite skin that is just beautiful.
