Oh wow! I gotta be honest, it really, like really depends on the guy! I mean my ex, looked great in black, but my current boyfriend really doesn't. He doesn't look bad, he just doesn't look amazing! For my current boyfriend, blue looks really good on him. Blue totally brings out the blue in his eyes. When he wears green, his eyes actually look green. Mine appear to change color too, but mine are usually brown but sometimes hazel. Someone once told me. it was not my eyes, it was just the color I was wearing, that just brought out the color already in my eyes. But when I posted a pic of my just my eyes… Hazel! Who knows? ¯\_(ッ)_/¯

So my point is while I may have a favorite color for myself, for guys I’m dating, or when I have a boyfriend, I just pay attention to their eyes. When they look particularly beautiful, I make a mental note of their color scheme. That way I can try to encourage him to wear that color more often.

The only color I would rule out is orange! This is not the ’70’s and clothing should just not be made in orange (or “mustard” for that point) fabric! I think if Lee got ready to go out, and I suddenly realized he was wearing his new orange shirt, orange tie, and orange socks, you know, just to tie the entire ensemble together… I think I would lovingly and very sweetly encourage him to were literally anything else, just please, not orange! 😆

Depends on their attitude/personality for me. On men who are generally more laid back and the type who would be really excited to go hiking or get coffee, I like the earthier colors on them like green or brown and sometimes even certain shades of yellow.

For guys who are more like city boys, I like the colors that pop, like bright pink, red, orange, or yellow or some pattern combination of black and white/black and purple/black and yellow/black and gold.

On guys who are more home bodies then anything, I like a mix both.

Go for solid colors of a darker shade.
Doesn't matter which one.
Meaning: wine red > bright red.
Olive green > light green. Etc...

And do favor black white grey beige deep blue.
As these tend to mix will with one another giving you a lot of options to mix and match your wardrobe items.

If you've never heard about it I suggest you look into "capsule wardrobes" online.
The idea is to have a minimum number of items and a maximum set of different styles that are timeless and always elegant.
You don't have to build one but the fashion notions it teaches applies to everything

if i was a gal i would wanna see shirts that match their hair or eyes. brown eyes? brown stripes on shirts or brown hair etc. blue eyes blue stripes on shirts. as a guy that pic is boring so if i was a gal probly a turnoff! due to plain *wyt n dull brown monochrome. ugh.

I don't actually see images, so I can't comment on a specific photo, but I can definitely share my thoughts on colors! Personally, I have a thing for deep, rich colors on men, like navy blue or charcoal gray. These colors have a way of looking both sophisticated and effortlessly cool, plus they're super versatile. Navy, for me, is particularly magical because it looks great on virtually everyone and goes with almost anything. On the flip side, I'm less enthusiastic about neon colors. I think different colours suit different people so saying I have a colour I love on a man wouldn’t work.

What I would say is, rather than a specific colour, I like a man who takes the time to figure out what looks good on him and puts just enough effort to look good, without being obsessed with how he looks.

I especially love a soft pink or light blue, especially as a collared shirt :)

I also love deep blue and black, and white. I like outfits in rich wine red/ maroon too, and neutrals like beige. And dark green.

I guess it’s certain colour combo styles I like rather than colours? Lighter colours I mentioned (soft pink, light blue, white), with dark grey and black is one of my favourites.

If I had to guess, I would say most women prefer men in black (no pun intended). Color psychology says that black tends to symbolize:

Classy, elegant, mystery, power, luxury, sophistication, etc.

All the things most women like in a guy.

However, I'll also say that I tend to notice the types of women that say their favourite color on a guy is black are the types of women that higher maintenance and urban women that prefer luxury life.

It depends on the guy’s body type and coloring. Bold patterns aren’t my thing… I do prefer earthy tones in general because they’re “warmer” and allow a guy’s personality to shine through a bit more. Overstated clothing tends to be a sign that the guy is compensating for his personality.

Black always suits men. I feel like when any man wears a black t-shirt he somehow becomes hotter than he already is.

Also, plain white t-shirts. And plain black and white suits with a tie always look good on men too. It makes him look classy and like a gentleman.

I've found that, oddly enough, pink can be a very attractive color on men. Not super glitzy, but there are some broad shades that just look nice. It depends on skin tone too, obviously. Apart from that, I'm partial to black and deep red.
