I love to wear black. Not goth-style, but classy and elegant. I think it can be sexy if done right, with the right cut, style, fabric and fit.

But it can look cheap and timid, too, like someone is afraid to branch out or is trying to hide some extra weight. And if it is even slightly faded or washed out, it doesn't look good to me.

I've tried to add more navy as an alternative to straight black for nuance. Almost anything that works with black can work with navy.

all black is too dark. black dresses are for funerals. if wear then what is left special for funeral?
if black slacks need lighter shirt even dark blue or dark red.
a black shirt or fancy blouse like your picture is very good but needs blue jeans or a colored skirt with one or more other colors.

In the hot sunny outdoors though, wearing black is not a good idea since it absorbs heat and makes the wearer even hotter. There's a good reason why Arabs who live in hot desert areas wear white... it keeps them cooler.

All black attire is my favorite!! Followed by nudes and neutrals. However, there is just something about all black. I feel so sexy and sophisticated in all black lol. It’s definitely my favorite color to wear of all time.

I wear all black, have black bedding, black computer, black mouse and keyboard, black monitor, black rugs on the floors, a black bathrobe, a black freezer, black pyjamas, black kitchen knives, black microphone... I'd paint the walls black if this wasn't rental accommodation. I've got black bin-bags over the windows to keep the light out.
This isn't about "sexy".
I just hate light.
