Pretty much never; shortly before I was born, the American Haberdasher Society apparently decided we'd start importing all our heads from Lilliput, and so I've never in my adult life actually HAD a hat that properly fit over my head. The biggest ones will fit atop my head, well enough to stay on and to provide some protection from the cold, but I basically had to be a hood man.
Now I'm in Florida, where we don't have winter, and people look at me like I'm crazy (which is NOT easy, in Florida) because I wear shorts when it's all the way down to SIXTY DEGREES.
I guess it means I can't be a construction worker or mariachi musician, though.

If it ain't a skull cap, almost never.. Most can't fit on my head because of all my hair and the style it's in..

Only when I have to (i. e. being outside on a sunny, hot day for an extended period of time). Otherwise, hats aren’t my thing. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Most days at the moment. My hair is longer than normal so I wear a hat - either a baseball cap or a full brim hat - so I'm not blinded by my hair blowing into my eyes
