How Do I Swim As A Hijabi?

My friend invited me to her party and I've known for quite some time, but it is only the day before that she's telling me we're swimming. I love swimming but I'm the only hijab in the group and this is really last minute. Do any other hijabis have any fast diy suggestions? I wish I had known sooner, then I could have bought a burkini, but alas, here we are.

Why go swimming with something like that in the first place?

If we choose one thing, then sometimes we can't do one other thing.

Hijab is not limiting, if that's why you mean. Sometimes you just need to do things a bit different and I found a way.

That's because you don't know enough to really say. People really think they know then they actually do, instead of sitting down and listening to what hijabis actually have to say.

I had tried Islam myself (and quit). I lived in a Muslim country. I do know what I speak about :)

I don't have one but if you swim with your head outside the water, can you not wet them?

Its not that I don't have wraps that can't get wet, I needed a full body coverage suit and I got one so problem solved.

Hooded Wetsuits are probably easier to get in a hurry...

Not only could I not find one in-person, but the online ones are so expensive. Thankfully I found a full coverage two piece and had a great time.
