Girls, Can I use my foundation as a concealer?

I was just wondering if it is ok to use my foundation as a concealer. It seems to me if you thin it out a little less, it could be used as a concealer. You can have it do double duty and not have to buy a separate concealer perhaps. Has anybody else done this? Did it workout alright? Thanks.

Absolutely, you can use your foundation as a concealer! Just make sure it's a full coverage one to be effective, and apply it in a slightly thicker layer on the areas you want to conceal. A concealer should give you more coverage than foundation, you also don’t necessarily have to use a concealer if you don’t want to, after ur usual foundation, you could add more foundation on top of areas that need more coverage and in thin layers to prevent caking but I don’t think you’d achieve fully the same coverage effect of a concealer. Again doesn’t matter tho if you don’t need all that extra coverage. I think concealer is just important for most people cause everyone likes to use a bit of a brightening concealer (a concealer that’s a shade lighter) under the eyes

Concealers are thicker and should provide more coverage. A dried out foundation may act as a concealer
