Why are all the mens short above the knee now?

I wanted to buy some light colored shorts I saw some really nice ones. When I tried them on they feel a lot shorter than they look in the pictures, when models are wearing them. I bought one pair now. I wanted more but I didn't find any that I really liked. Is this just one summer or am I gonna have to get used to this now? Maybe I also waited too long and the best ones are gone because they're already preparng for ne chlothes I don't know. I'll look around online a bit more but I'll have to be careful. But I did find some longer pants I really liked and I need some of those too so it's ok.

Also if I'm showing off my thighs will I be getting some donations at least?

In my whole life I don't remember having shorts that covered my knees unless they were basketball shorts. And that's a more recent thing. Back in the day those were shorter too.

It's the trend and style and to be honest, I do think it looks better for the most part, but if you really want longer shorts, there's always shops available for it. All you literally have to do is Google "mens long shorts"

Not below at the knee shorts always went just over your knee caps when you were standing and shorter when you were sitting of course. But that was just the length that I was used to and now the all the shorts I sawend above the knee even when standing.
