I am pretty sure it doesn't matter weather the shirt collar is open, not open, or even off. Weather you find them attractive has to do with other things.

well, I think we look more attractive because a collar is flowy. it's to nerdy and stiff to ware it closed and buttoned at the top. we can also pop it up this way. collars are like magic.
