Why do young guys always have their shirt collar open?

Shirt collars are traditionally not meant to be buttoned. All formal shirts do not have buttons on the collar. I get my dress shirts tailor made and it comes with a slot under the collar to insert a collar stay (either made of metal, silver or mother of pearl). Any shirt with buttons on the collar immediately relegate it to become an informal shirt. If you look at morning or evening dress, none of them would be buttoned down.
Take a look at how men in the royal family dress - classic Windsor/spread collar that’s left open. Ask me anything about men’s clothes (traditional ones like dress shirts, suits, pleated pants etc) and I can probably answer you.
thats very attractive. I feel slightly submissive when I'm wearing a choker while chatting to a tall guy that is wearing a shirt with his collar open. I guess it's the contrast of his neck naked and free while mine is constricted in a tight choker all night. I guess it makes guys seem more dominant and in control
I don't want to be strangulated. Buttoning that top button is horrible. Except for shirts meant to be worn with a tie that top button isn't even meant to be buttoned. It's just for show. Sensible shirts don't even have a top button.

Because it looks stupid to be buttoned all the way up unless you're wearing a tie. It's much more comfortable that way also
Just for you to enjoy seeing their neck. For me, I can't stand something on my neck like that so I keep it open. Don't you like seeing it open? I bet you would want it all way unbuttoned.
I like mine all the way unbuttoned. Why not just let it all hang out?
Do you like chokers? How many do you have?
How and why did you start to wear it?
It does look hot. Very hot. How long have you worn one?
I had a girlfriend that loved being choked during sex. I should have put one on her. You have a beautiful neck. Choker suits you. Do you take it off at times?
Next time I will. A little wider than yours probably. With a loop on the back for something extra.
Most definitely. Like fkn her from behind. Also have a leash on it so I can pull easier or strap her down
I do only because I don't like the top buttoned. Feels like it is something against your neck. If I am at a wedding then I will for sure or a formal event
It’s more comfortable and relaxed to dress that way.
BUTTONING THE TOP BUTTON MAKES A GUY LOOK LIKE A CONVICT. NOBODY DOES THAT.
It's easier to breathe. Fastening the top button feels like I'm being choked.
We are supposed to wear it tight around our necks?
No guys button the top button unless they are wearing a tie
For me personally my neck is a bit big for some of my shirts and it cuts off air making me go red in the face which isn't good unless I'm being choked in bed.
It's more comfortable, if you aren't wearing a tie.
To have their own style look cool...
It's more comfortable I guess
I don't know how chokers are a thing honestly, doesn't it bother
Oh well in that case fair enough
... why would you button the top button?
We generally don't like being choked
You always leave the top button undone.
Its comfortable having a tight collar
Cause we like it that way that’s why
I do that because it feels comfortable.
breathing room more comfortable
to breathe
Cause Summer weather
I don't know but I do enjoy squeezing women's neck with my hands lmao
