Ah, the memory of guys popping their collars, it's a bit of a fashion flashback. This trend gained popularity in the early 2000s, and it was often associated with a certain sense of coolness and confidence. The collar pop was seen as a way to make a statement, exuding a laid-back, rebellious vibe.
For some guys, it was all about mimicking the style of celebrities or pop culture icons who sported this look. It was a way to fit in and project an image of being effortlessly stylish.
Additionally, popping the collar was thought to emphasize the collarbone and jawline, enhancing one's facial features. It could be a way to draw attention to oneself, especially in social settings.
However, opinions on this trend were polarized. Some found it stylish and trendy, while others saw it as a bit pretentious or even laughable. Over time, fashion trends evolve, and the collar pop has largely faded from mainstream style, but it's still a fun memory of an era when guys experimented with their fashion choices to express themselves.
As a so called active "Administrator" perhaps you would be good enough to view "burgek39" posts (all of which are spam) and do your job in removing them and banning the Asker.
Please Note: Some three hours ago I report this all you so called Administrators, to which nothing has happened... I've not even received the usual generically produced message confirming you've received it.
Thank You.
Depends on the coat or shirt sometimes it does actually look good on the guy :P
True that it used to be a fashion in the 1980s. Have you seen old Bruce Springsteen videos? Today it might look out of style but it does not nlmean that back in the days it meant "they don't even know how to dress up". I can count 10s of CURRENT trends (men AND women) that are more ridiculous than popping collars in their time.
Now for me; in current times, when I wear a turtle neck fleece or a pullover over a polo t-shirt, even today, depending on how it fits with each other, i rarher have the polo colors pop up under the fleece the. It just looks odd to me otherwise.
I've gone out in a rush with my collar unintentionally popped but I wouldn't intend to ever do that in this lifetime again. Last time I did that was in middle school as I was trying to be the first to bring back a style simply to be different. Needless to say, it didn't catch on and I reference this as the exact moment I went from a self proclaimed hero to a big fat zero.
Soon after thus realization, I became a menace to society, ended up in juvenile, lost one of my balls in a gang brawl, became addicted to Crack, and now find myself here. Consequences y'all
Yes, popping collars is a gateway! So sad 😭

No clue, but I also never understood the "Wear your shorts at your knees and show everyone your boxer shorts in public" kind of trend. How do you look like a hard gangster when you look like a child who doesn`t know how to wear their pants properly and runs around with their underpants exposed? Maybe I just don`t understand fashion.
Fashion trends are stupid, people should dress however they want whenever they want, if he wants to have a popped collar, he can do that.
It would be much less boring if every clothing style from every era of every region were sold in clothing shops commonly today, and people picked whatever they personally liked instead of having the same shit everywhere.
Nothing is worse aesthetically than uniformity.
Are you talking about the action of popping your collar in public like a huge douche or just wearing a collared shirt like that? You can only get away with that look if you're Elvis or Count Dracula. My roommate wears his shirt like that and he's a huge douche and way too old to be doing that.
You... East Coast or Midwest somewhere? I'm a West Coast native that's spent time in 46 states and those 2 regions (in the Midwest it's college towns) I've seen these dorky Justin Timberlake looking dudes doing that with this stupid shit eating grin on their faces.
It's a 1980s retarded thing.
Is that 8 shirts? Or 1 shirt with 8 collars?
No idea. It looks retarded, like you can't even dress yourself
I pop mine only when it’s cold 🥶.. or on my work shirt when I’m crawling into a dirty spider filled area
🙂well they look CHAPRI in it!
It was cool in the 60s. The early 60s.
I don’t know of any neek that does this
That's why I only wear T's...
i don't see that much
No one cares what you hate, get over it, kid
