We put in so much attention to detail that often goes unnoticed because guys are usually more focused on the overall picture rather than the finer points.

I don’t care how other girls present themselves but I’m not fond of them. They make my eyes look smaller. I wore them once in college and felt weird. Maybe I’m not good at using them?

The difference shown in the pictures is too exaggerated... I'm a guy and my eyelashes honestly look much more like the second picture than the first.

Pretty girls can look like that naturally without adding lashes! Although, to answer the question, I'm fine with a girl adding lashes if she naturally looks like the first image.

The men who prefer makeup and lashes and nails, etc., tend to also be vain and image-conscience themselves, and are definitely in the minority. Most men prefer minimal to completely natural. That also applies to tattoos and piercings.

I want a woman in her natural state with minimal to no tattoos. In my opinion a woman that works hard at and spends too much money trying to look attractive is shallow. All that makeup, lashes and nails, doesn’t just cover up her physical imperfections, but her psychological ones as well.

Fake eye lashes can enhance her eyes and look beautiful, as long as they look natural.
I don't mind them any more than I mind tasteful makeup.

But I hate fake-looking eye lashes. If I can tell they are fake, I don't like them. And some of the giant, weirdly shaped ones are flat out grotesque.

It's fine as long as it's not those super unnaturally thick cheap glue lashes.. Like go to a lash tech if you want them longer.. I honestly prefer good old mascara, but as long as it's in moderation, they're fine.
