I mean like with anything else, it depends.

One common issue is that a lot of men THINK that a woman has no make up on when she's wearing light or more natural looking make up. But she actually is wearing it, it's just harder to tell.

Usually the goal of make up is to make someone look better not worse. If the make up is very light or natural it looks like no make up as it just means the skin will be clearer and look nicer.

BUT I do not like very obvious or heavy make up. It just looks too artificial. I'm not really attracted to bright red lips, lots of blush, lots of mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, etc.

If she has on make up but it doesn't look like she has any on, good, but if it's obvious it's there then I don't like it.

Some women naturally have really great skin to the point to they don't even need make up to make their skin look better, and that's great!

So in the end I guess zero make up if she has great skin naturally and light/natural make up if her skin isn't that great are the two best options, about equally so. But heavy make up is way far behind both.

TL;DR I'm fine with more natural looking make up but dislike heavy make up. As for no make up, if her skin is amazing naturally then she doesn't need make up at all, but if she has bad skin then natural make up can make it look better.

Depends on the day and what I’m doing. On the weekends when I am home, I usually wear little to no makeup. During the week when I’m at work or out and about, I wear a little bit. The key is to use just enough to look cute and accentuate your features without going overkill and hiding your face behind too much makeup. Usually, lip gloss or lipstick depending on preference, a little foundation (I prefer liquid to powder) to even out complexion or blush, mascara, and maybe some light eyeliner is enough for a normal day. Obvs for a date night or event, a little additional dolling up is perfectly acceptable.

No make-up or at least very little.
SOME eyeliner, lipstick, rouge. okay but, the raccoon look or just having her eyes completely surrounded in thick black, and eye shadow, in most cases, is just too much. same goes for the rest of the war paint some of these women wear. I wanna see YOU, NOT a mask that comes off at the end of the night and then I find out I'm dating Godzilla! You never see men slathering on all that shit to go out with you. If you're wearing enough shit to be able to audition for the next Robert Palmer video, I don't know that I wanna get involved. Just be you! Don't they say, "Honesty is the best policy?"

Makeup is fun and playful and unique. I just think there should be a time and place. It’s sorta silly to me to go full glam for the grocery store to pick up eggs and milk. But it happens. Or full makeup to the gym.
i prioritize quality skin care to get my face looking it’s best over makeup. Makeup is for special date cases like date night, outing with friends to a special something, or weddings.

No make up. I only wear small amounts like eyeliner and mascara on special occasions. I’ve never bothered with foundation or concealer as I’m completely covered in freckles and when I try to cover them up it just makes me look super pale and washed out.

I'll be the odd man out and say I'll take a girls face on it's face value. They do look pretty good and I'm happy with the illusion of a blemish-less skin.

A core factor is that I like the femininity of girls wanting to look good and the effort they put in to looking good. If I went on a date with a girl who hadn't put much effort in, I'd think she didn't have much regard for me and feel a little insulted.

If I am dressing up, such as a dinner date, a little makeup is appropriate. If going to classes or even a casual coffee date, I don't need makeup.

I wear some make up mostly in winter to hide the imperfections on my skin. When higher temperatures start (+20°C) I just stick to my face wash routine and wear a bit of lip gloss.

Light makeup is fine. The best makeup is virtually unnoticeable. The problem is, there has been a trend of women wearing WAY too much makeup and looking very fake. Most guys who complain about makeup are reacting to the fake look.
