Are short shorts/booty shorts uncomfortable to wear?

I like wearing denim short shorts in the summer but they are so damn uncomfortable. I don't like the feeling of denim up my butt all day. Can anybody else relate?

denim in hot weather is a bad choice dear.. i love wearing botty shorts they are fine for me but i choose cotton onces or other material not denim as in the place i stay its hot round the year soo..
