What underwear do ladies wear when they are wearing short jean shorts?

Just wondering, some of those shorts are so short that girls/women can't possibly wear bikini style underwear can they?

So out of curiosity I was wondering what style do underwear do you ladies wear under short jean shorts?

I agree with Lisa, I'd go with a thong. Much more comfy and avoids the chance of my undies popping out on the side. Anyway I always wear tights under short shorts, don't like my ass being exposed.

under short jean shorts I go with thong underwear, anything else would be to uncomfortable in my opinion.
