What the difference between being aware of yourself and dressing appropriately for the occasion and your age and being a narcissist?

My understanding is that a narcissist will think anything looks good on them regardless of if it's appropriate, where as being aware is a self reflection, taking into account the positives and negatives to be age appropriate for the occasion.

I’m not sure narcissism has much to do with how a person dresses. I do agree it’s best to consider what’s appropriate dress for your age and the occasion.
