100 years ago, when most people were only 4 or 5 feet tall, they made houses that could easily fit people 8' tall, cars that you could play baseball in or rent out to a family of 6 to live in and clothes that could double for a tent in a pinch!! Now that people are at least 6' tall, houses are built for midgets, cars are built so you need the jaws of life just to get INTO them and clothes are made for Ken, Barbie and G. I Joe dolls!!

The house I grew up in was built in 1900 and had 10' high ceilings. The house I have now was built in 1963 and my head nearly scrapes the ceiling. The cars I'm talking about were from the `40's. 6 years ago, I was offered a ride home in a brand new car and it took me almost two minutes to try to squeeze into it and had my knees in my chin the whole trip.
