I prefer nah. I remember reading somewhere that the human brain interprets tattoos in the same way it does scars. So I see how it might make a male look like a battle hardened abuse taking machine, but I also see how it makes a female look like a scarred up abuse victim or some sort of emo cutter type that might not be best to have kids with.

I hear the artistic expression argument a lot... Not sure if I'll believe you when you just have random shit that has no meaning, which I've seen a lot since tattoos became popular to normies. Affiliation tattoos just are what they are... basically a branding, like what gang you belong to, your role, or what you're into... for instance when I see a white chick with a black spade tatted on her, I know she's into that BBC or I see a big 18 or 13 tatted on a dude, I know what they get into as well.

Overall I think too many posers adopted tattoos for fashionista reasons, and I never seen a point for me to get one. I have scars and look like a shaved chimp, plus I already had all the women I wanted... I simply had no need.

I just realized my wife has tattoos. The biggest one is on her chest and partially on her tiddy. My name, property of, and our marriage date. On her back she has a Kanji which is haha in Japanese which mean Mother.. that one was a poser tattoo because I didn't impregnate her yet and she didn't even know how to say it or write it herself, just knew the meaning of the Kanji. I on the other hand read and write Japanese. The last tattoo is a racial identification thing... She's islander (Chamorro). To her credit, at least she can say each of her tatts has a meaning... I might be a 'nah' guy to tattoos, but I still fuck the shit out of one with them.

Nah, the tats usually look like shit. I only ever saw one woman with tattoos that enhanced her. She was a bartender so perhaps the alcohol just made me horny though.

Depends on type of tattoo, person, the art style of it, how many or how little they have.

I think overall I wouldn’t want a partner with tattoos. Maybe a short term thing but nothing life long. Just feels like people with tattoos have some pain that they chose tattooing to express and cope instead of coping in other ways that didn’t affect their outward appearance. Not against it but I’ll be honest I pay more attention to the people with tattoos than their actual tattoos unless it was really eye catching or original/unique.

I always look at them and forget what they have tatted. Even with celebs. Just feels like a black and white comic book that would take too long to inspect. 😄

@itsannalee I see your point but I disagree. The girl with blue hair definitely put more effort into her look including keeping her hair styled as well as looking confident overall. The posture of the second girl with black hair and faded blonde highlights looks more casual and could be a bit insecure. She has sleeve tats which makes me think she wishes to hide also. She has floral tats which could be dedicated to heritage culture symbolism or just something of her sensitive nature. The first girl looks like she has a job (maybe not the best one-something in a salon or tattoo parlor), but the other girl is just in a dark room with shy pose and messy casual hair as well as a plain garment which seems to be rolled up. If I had to choose which one had their life more put together I would vote for the blue hair girl. She maybe have some things she’d need therapy or toxic for but she seems to have more control on her life or a bit more ambitious. The second girl could be going to college but she seems timid and there’s not much more shown. Neither could be educated but one seems to be more assertive and confident in herself which is a +1 in my book. Both lovely but I just felt like you were hating on the first girl. I didn’t appreciate the distinct difference in appearance of the two regarding culture. Wasn’t a fair comparison. But I’m just adding my view on the vote between the two and just hope there was no bias. Which is what a lot of people may have towards people with tattoos (I don’t have tattoos).

That’s fine I mostly posted it for other readers. So they can see both sides. If you still agree and have an underlying bias or prejudice to certain people, I can’t help you. If you believe in god only he can, if you have a therapist only they can. Maybe with time. I’m not looking to change anything about you. If you happened to be directly racist I’d feel bad in general about that fact, you know, if someone just unfairly judged other people they didn’t know. @Rosexøxø mmmmm, I'm looking at the white girl and it literally looks like she just just picked random things because she thought they looked cool.

Meanwhile the traditional Japanese irezumi has a long historical meaning, the process is probably done in the traditional method which is a bit more painful than a tattoo gun and requires multiple sessions per month for up to 5 years to complete. Even the colors used has meaning.

Like in my opinion/answer, where I said too many people get tattoos now just for fashionista reasons... the white girl is a perfect example of what I was thinking of. I mean you yourself pointed out how it matches her hair and that sort of stuff... that's a fashion perspective and I doubt that white girl has much meaning behind each of those tattoos. It literally looks like she's just randomly going through pictures at the tattoo shop and just picking what she thinks looks cool.

To be clear I'm not judging by race, I am judging the tattoos themselves by meaning and purpose.
